We have been back from Canada for weeks now. My lists have already birthed sub-lists! It's time my poor little blog got a bit of attention. Lots of projects in the works which means the kitchen is a bomb site definitely not suitable for cooking in.

Beads to thread.
Leather to cut.
Plates to smash.
6 weeks till Upmarket.

new pieces in store!!!

It has been a mad and manic 6 weeks trying to reach my mostly self-created deadlines before our big trip overseas. My items have been package up and sent off to Tania at Handmade Living for photographing. Slightly mysterious I know as this is the first I have mentioned Handmade...
New rings, necklaces and now brooches are in store at my etsy shop (located on the right hand side bar, wink wink) I have been unhappy with the way the jewellery has been presented/photographed so far so they have been re photographed along with the new pieces. 
Looking at the completed tasks here in print makes me relieved that I have got through it with 3 days to spare! Luckily no one was here to see the chaos, filthy house, needy children and the crazy lady helming the ship. I have no idea how so many stay at home parents manage their own businesses.

Off to pack for my 12 week holiday in the Canadian summer. Did I mention I was leaving my husband behind?? Did I actually just call this a holiday???? Only time and and 24 hours of flying with a 2 and 4 year old will tell.

smashed by 12pm

No, not me. Just my latest finds from the thrift shop. 
   
There are always stoneware plates with earthy combinations of brown orange and yellow to be found. This scavenge however found an array of bright floral plates as well that I am really excited about. Don't worry, I don't smash every lovely plate I come across. I have a nice little collection of one off treasures for a colorful dinner party in the future. 
With a few new tools at my side, I'm off to turn these bits into some new jewellery  pieces.

Open for business!

I have supplied jewellery on a small scale to shops over the years. Although it has been well received, I have found it difficult to make enough to get more pieces out there. In the last however many years, the internet has produced so many great avenues for the makers of handmade to share what they make. With the start of this blog and now this I have finally jumped on board. With the amazing site Etsy, BeaDivine's first online shop is now open for business!
Hop on over to Etsy (link on right hand side bar) and take a look. I would love any feed back you may have, ie. photo quality, designs, spelling mistakes!

 Here are a few of the pieces available;
    
 I welcome custom orders and existing pieces can be altered upon request where possible. As well as creating original jewellery, I make customs pieces for clients using their unused and reclaimed jewellery. I will be updating the shop with new pieces once they are completed.
