We have joined in on a weekly art and craft session for the kids. This week, an old camp craft favorite. The lovely minieco reminded me of this one I use to spend a lot of time making as a child.
Paper beads made from recycled magazines.
~ Cut paper into long isosceles triangles. The length of a magazine page.
~ Roll paper from the widest end around a wooden skewer.
~ Add glue to the last 2 inches from the tip and finish rolling.
These beads are remarkably sturdy. You can also spray with a clear craft sealer to protect them.
A very therapeutic activity! The mum's may have even got a little more out of it than the kids.
