And just like that, it was over. Sigh.
Our traditional Christmas formula was all flipped around this year. We usually head south for a Christmas near the beach, but this year everyone joined us in the big smoke for 2 days of feasting and festivities. We stuffed our faces, consumed mass amounts of baked goods and had a brilliant time. It was a treat to spend Christmas in our own home. The girls were thrilled that Santa knew where they lived. Everyone was spoiled rotten and this girl was surprised by one heck of a fabulous power tool.
In lieu of the coast, we brought a little beach to our Christmas table. Our beach collections, salt dough starfish and silver and white baubles, although not very traditional, looked lovely.
Thank you for stopping by over the last 12 months. It has been a very exciting year. I can't tell you how happy it makes me that you take a moment to have a read. Wishing you all a happy holidays and wonderful new year. The caravan is packed and we are off for 10 glorious days on the beach. See you in the new year.
